Using canvas components can result in faster creation and more reliable canvas apps. Updating and managing a canvas app can also be much easier with canvas components.
A canvas app can interact with a canvas component instance using custom properties. By default, there are 2 property types. Enabling the experimental feature Enhanced component properties increases the number of property types to 6.
Canvas components can be imported from other canvas apps or from a component library.
